"Failed to Add the Preset" Apple Studio Display Display Preset Issue

Having the same problem as of Sequoia's final release.

My presets are gone, and I cannot color calibrate the monitor properly because of this issue.

1. Tried unplugging the monitor for a half hour to power drain and cycle it back up.
2. Rebooted several times.

Waiting on the new Asus 8K monitor to become available, and then no more Apple monitors for me!

FINALLY FIXED in Sequoia 15.2 that came out yesterday. Presets are back and editing seems to work.

Having the same issue with 15.0.1—tried a few times with customer support. No resolution.

2022 Mac Studio with M1 Ultra chip.

Is there any update here from Apple Support?

It's ridiculous that a basic function of these displays is now gone with no information of when it will be brought back.

Definitely feels like Apple dropped the ball here. No improvement since 15.1. Whenever the 8K ASUS display becomes available, no more Apple monitors for me :)

I reached out this morning and had a helpful tech troubleshoot with me for about an hour before he created a case to take to Apple for deeper investigation. Turns out we're the lucky two this is happening to for now 😁

Support was unable to help me fix this after a couple of hours of phone troubleshooting and back and forth with Apple engineers.

Very disappointing that a monitor can be functionally disabled via software updates, but life lesson learned: Don't use Apple monitors for serious work.
