iOS 18 Control Center and Lock Screen Bug

I have the same issue, also I can't chamge the action button to controls too..

and can't change or remove the lockscreen apps.. the camera and the torch either..

iPhone 15 Pro Max..

it seems that this iPhone will be my last one..

It won’t even allow me to even turn my phone off in the control center or the action button won’t work either when I try to scroll through my text messages on a specific person or other people. It is a delayed reaction.

That's not, to the best of my knowledge, a feature that has ever been offered in Control Center.

What does the action button have to do with text messages? I don't see any options related to text messaging in Settings>Action Button.

I update to ios18 but when I hang up from a call its on the Recents call log & the screen literally will not shut off or lock! I sat & watched to see will the screen lock & never did! I have a habbit of hanging up the phone & just setting the phone down bc I know it will lock but with this new update it DO NOT, You guys need to all tey to see if your having the same issue please! Thank

so just call to your call recents screen & see if it will lock the screen

Could Y’all please fix the Notes app? It’s completely unusable right, every time you load onto it, the entire app freezes and you can’t click on any of your notes. The Notes app is very essential to my every day life. I’ve tried everything.

has Anyone else noticed the sound quality of the AirPods after downloading iOS 18? The sound got low and muffled. Firstly I thought it might be my AirPods working strangely and bought new pair which is also working strangely. The sound quality is not as good as it used to be, and while playing battle royal games I also noticed that the footsteps of other players are not clear and can’t hear anything as I used to before downloading the update iOS 18 on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. If anyone knows what might have been the issue, please let me know because I tried few things like reseting all my settings, reseting AirPods, restarted phone couple times, downloaded few apps again where I was facing issues, etc. but it is still the same.

The language swap trick worked once but now even that's closed off. I have no third party app controls. When this started happening the Shazam control had disappeared and trying to add it back is how I started encountering the crashes. Can't remember the last time an iOS upgrade was actually an upgrade. iOS 7 maybe?

If you want to say anything about statistics, you wanna make sure you brought the data instead of just claims.

As someone who’s tech savvy such as myself (I am a software engineer) who use a wide variety of OSes from linux from multiple distros, macOS, windows, iOS even freaking Symbian and BB Os back then.. I can say that iOS is by far the worst performing OS that there is in the world today. So when you say, the vast majority of people don’t have an issue.. are you sure you’re not using the phone just for making / receiving phone calls and browsing???

Same for me 😩 also the Lock Screen cans be updated, also if I try to change the action button in control menu , the “add a control menu’ “ make my phone crash.

I try to restart several times and I try to change my region language but nothing, the bus it’s still there 😤😤😤 I’m using a phone without can change nothing on my control center or Lock Screen buttons.

I have an iPhone 12 and I seem to have the same problem added to which, when trying to go to the app switcher it keeps taking me back to the home screen, unable to interact with anything in the app switcher

so i can’t see my icon for my new beats to connect. i restarted my phone and the beats and the beats wasn’t showing up like the battery life of airpods. i went over to my sisters phone and it appeared on hers and she hasn’t updated her phone yet… so something needs to be fix!!

The same happens to me since I updated to 18.0 my iPhone SE. The automatic screen lock doesn't work and eats the battery if you are not aware. If I press the button to check what time is it, it will never shut the screen of.
