Remote control Itunes on my mac from my Apple Watch

I updated to watch os 11 today and found that it doesn't seem to support remote control of Itunes on my Macbook anymore?! (Even though my apple watch and Mac are connected to the same wifi the macbook doesn't appear anymore in the remote app on my apple watch)

The only option is now my Apple TV and the new user guide for apple watch only talks about how to control apple TV : Control Apple TV with Apple Watch - Apple Support (JO)

I am SO disappointed! This is the main reason I bought my Apple watch serie 9. To be able to remotely control the music in my itunes library.

Is there anyone out there that know if it's true that apple just dumped this future or is there a way to make it work again? Or another watch app that cna do this?

And if they really took away the support for this, please apple, bring it back in the next update !

The whole point of having an apple watch is to seamlessly communicate to and from your other apple devices. Why take away a beautiful and super practical function?

Please consider bringing back support of remotely controlling your macbook when it's playing music from itunes.
