Have just updated to iPad OS18 on my iPad Mini 6 and photo thumbnails are tiny! They can be enlarged, but only temporarily. How can I get them to stay a decent size so I can actually see them?!

I went to the bottom of my IPad 10. Tapped the arrows and zoomed to 3 across. Mine is staying at 3 when I close the app and re-open.
I don't like the tiny pho sizes. Is there a way to go back to the previous software version.
Can you tell me what arrows you tapped to zoom to 3 across, I can’t see any arrows at the bottom of my screen?

Bottom left corner, next to the word "Years".
I have no "all" option. Frustrated! 4 Eye operations in past 2 years and Apple does this!
There is nothing to adjust - I have the "All" an then I get "sort by recently added" and 3 other lines but nothing that tells me how to resize the photos.
