Found this on another thread How to Stop Battery Draining on iPhone After a Recent IOS Update and it's been a game changer, battery which was reducing 20 to 30% in 1 hour of basic usage now reduces only 15%. I will update you on which adjustment helped alot as I am currently testing on it as I don't want to disable some features so will update soon here.

During read of all this comments I found one thing that I didn’t do after update. And it looks like that helps and battery drain is gone now, at least for phone.

Background: I’m using shortcut to turn off charging at 90%. Probably charge to 100 is needed after update to calibrate battery.

my solution: Charge battery to 100% and keep it that way on charger for 1h.

before: phone charger before night, till the morning 30% battery drop.

now: after night 3-6% battery drop.

iPhone 14 Pro, and I've been having issues since iOS 17.6.2 (currently on 18.1.1).

I've already gone through a factory reset (which helped for about 3 days), countless recommendations for hard resets, then iOS 18.0.1 helped for about 5 days, but since then it's been the same.

I'm not planning on getting it checked for two reasons: 1. the phone is already out of warranty, and 2. the fact that a factory reset and one iOS version helped for a while (3-5 days) suggests more of a software issue. I was planning on upgrading, but I don't want to buy a new phone that will lose a significant amount of battery health within just a few months.

you have to turn off all AI functions. That’s what’s draining the battery. Once I did that, my phone has been fine. You have to toggle each individual one off, which is annoying, but it’s the only way. The software is constantly supporting the AI in the background. Settings>AI&Siri> Apps> shut all functions down specifically “Learn from this app”. Your battery will be back to normal. Thank me later
