iOS 18 draining my battery
Last night (17/09/24) I upgraded to iOS 18 update but this morning when I started using the phone, my battery drained out very quickly - anyone had similar issues.
any solution please ?

Found this on another thread How to Stop Battery Draining on iPhone After a Recent IOS Update and it's been a game changer, battery which was reducing 20 to 30% in 1 hour of basic usage now reduces only 15%. I will update you on which adjustment helped alot as I am currently testing on it as I don't want to disable some features so will update soon here.
My mobile only 20 days old . After update ver 18 my battery health down 100 to 99% 😡, hey apple what should i do now??
Have the same problem with my iPhone 16P. Hope iOS 18.1 fixed the drainage.

Updated to the 18.1 I think it’s running better now for the battery drain . I didn’t loose yet an other 1% on the battery life at the moment but will need to monitor for the next week.
I feel though
that the phone and the updates are trying settle down and they will after a while come back to normal
Same issue on 16Pro. 18.1. No indexing is happening.
Same is happening with me also. Battery is draining out quickly after the ios 18 update (iPhone 14).
Have you tried the suggested method of disabling Siri learning from your apps? Seemed to help me out with my 14

Thank you! I recently had to charge my battery twice a day, and now I can correlate this to the update timing.
Everybody is having their phone batteries drain quicker than before after upgrading to the latest lousy upgrade.
