I am missing the text effects option in my iMessage screen. Any help?

Be sure that predictive text is enabled.
settings>general>keyboard>predictive text.
That was my issue.
What device and what OS version is it running?
iPhone 15 Pro Max iOS 18, and predictive text enabled

Same problem; iPhone 15Pro, ios18. I have checked the usual setting and still the effects button, (3 slashes A) is not appearing.
