How do you overcome Call Failed Error when using iPhone Mirroring - Not able to make phone calls

I am having the same issue in New Zealand on Spark NZ carrier. This is really frustrating because ability to drive calls from the Mac was the main reason I was excited about iPhone mirroring - so with this one bug Apple broke the whole utility of this feature for me. I hope they fix it in 8.1

I received a notification that the patch to macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 would fix this problem. I have just updated both my Macs to this Mac OS however, I still cannot make a phone call from the mirrored version of my iPhone 16. No big deal really but would have been a nice option.

I can make a call directly from my Mackbook with no issue.

Mirroring is something I can wait until for until all the bugs are worked out of it.

Unfortunately, Apple's Product Feedback Page doesn't include iPhone Mirroring at present, and that's what I'm having trouble with.

I have a 2023 MacBook Pro with M3 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max and have the same issue. :(

I have an M3 iMac running Sequoia 15.0 and an iPhone 16 Pro running iOS 18, and have the same issue, nothing in the settings of either the phone or the Mac provides a fix.

Same for me also iPhone 16 iOS 18.0, 2022 MacBook Pro M2 macOS Sequoia 15.0

iOS 18.0.1 and Sequoia 15.0.1 did not solve this issue for me.

I have the 15.0.1 update and that did not fix it for me.

I have updated to macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 (24A348) and the bug has not been fixed. Still can’t make calls.

I just reconfirmed my 10/3 post. My M1 iMac is running 15.0.1 (24A348) and it gets the Call Failed result when placing an iPhone Phone app call via iPhone mirroring. Instantly.

Haven't tried it yet. To early to try this eye candy that they just introduced. I'll wait until they work the bugs out of it.

I have a 16 Pro Max with an M2 Mac Mini on Sequoia 15.0.1. I just tried to make a phone call from my Mac while mirroring and I'm getting "Call Failed".

Same problem in Norway.
