Bugs in ios 18 - App lock issue

I am using ios 18 stable version in my iphone 15. I locked the messages app using app lock feature. I found that app lock is not working well. Whenever I unlock my device and open messages app it is opening without asking the face id. If I close and open app it is not asking face id. It is taking sometime to lock the app. Is anyone facing similar issue ?

IOS 15.7.1 and face recognition on apps Does anyone know how to fix this issue. i downloaded 15.7.1 today and can’t access WhatsApp or my bank app or anything that does facial recognition. i have a iPhone 11. Come on Apple…this is a farce. Get your act together before you put updates. Really annoyed and I’m an Apple man through and through. Can anyone advise what they did. Cheers
