I have installed latest iOS on my iPhone 14 Pro, and since then I am waiting for the firmware in my Air Pod Pro (Model # A2698) to update but it is not happening.
I have looked it up on Youtube and other support sites and all of them recommend to connect the Airpods and leave then in the case with the lid open near the phone. Been doing that for last 2 days without luck. Anyone else facing similar problems?

I had the same problem... can't update airpods pro 2 in ios 18. I have airpods pro 2 A2698 and i can't update from version 6A321 to this 7A294 (where the microphone sound is horrible)...
I already tried to forget device, re-pair device... nothing.
Can anyone help?
