Why is the RAM full on my iPhone?

I have an iPhone 13 and through the systems monitor application I see that 98 percent of my RAM is always full. I have been seeing performance problems since the update to iOS 17. The same thing is happening on version 18. Has anyone encountered this problem and is there a solution?

iOS handles RAM usage. Get rid of the system monitor app you’re using. It’s not reliable and can’t give you any useful information.

iOS is rooted in UNIX. UNIX will use as much RAM as it can get hold of. Anything less would be inefficient.

Your performance issues are NOT tied to RAM usage.
