Excessive system memory usage on iPhone after updating to iOS 26.1

why iphone are using so higher memory around 50gb. seeing it post updating latest ios(26.1) today. any idea how to reduce the system memory usage?

After any .x update the system needs to reorganize, update diagnostics and reset data logs. During this time the phone will get warm and battery usage will quicken.

Leave it alone for 24 - 48 hours. restart it and see where you are then.

Only one way IF you really need the space


Turn off Apple Intelligence, Back up the phone, Erase all content & settings, Set up the phone again, restoring the backup. Add back your bank cards etc etc.
