Is there a way to delete the @iCloud.com alias? It just says your email address cannot be removed and I can't remove from iMessage/Facetime. My primary email address is tied to @gmail.com, I can change it, my phone number can be removed and changed, so why can't I delete the secondary email address @icloud.com? If this address is not considered secondary, so why can't I make it primary?

Is it actually an alias, or is it the main one?
If it is an alias, you can delete it and create another one
If it is the primary one, you cannot change or delete it.

Is the alias less then 30 days old?
You can also try to delete the Alias
at the top of the Mailboxes list, then choose Settings.I can't delete. my iphone send me to the imessage and facetime. On appleid.apple.com it says it's an alias. On my iPhone, it is an account that cannot be deleted. Why can't I delete it if my main account is registered through @gmail.com?
I created it today. On icloud.com in the mail section it is the only one used as the main one.
Is there a way to remove allias' emails from Apple ID?
