Paramount+ on AppleTV

Discovered recently that I’ve been paying for Paramount+ through an Apple subscription for years. However, when I go to the Paramount+ app on the AppleTV device, it treats me like a stranger and tries to get me to create a new account with “try for free” and other offers. I try to sign in, but of course Apple never gave me a password, so I select “forgot password and try to send it to my email (also my apple id) and nothing happens…I never get anything from Paramount or Apple. I sing up for this subscription on Apple+, use on Apple TV, pay Apple 12.99/month now and it wont work. Apple says it wont give me a refund AND cant get it to work, I should call Paramount (Apple wont give me a contact either. Is this an Apple scam??
