Screen Time in my iPhone is not blocking apps

Hi all.

We have screentime on for Snapchat and Tiktok and other social media platforms - have set the limit to 1 minute as there doesn't appear to be a way to block the app from being installed or being used?

But when we check usage over the past week - it's showing as almost 2 hours!

Child is obviously finding a way around the system - maybe using the web version? But we've blocked web.snapchat.com

What can we do? Is there a better 3rd party app we can install on the childs device that can block this sort of thing?

Please and thanks!

Firstly check under the Screen Time settings that these apps are not set to always allowed. It's probably not as a lot of people have reported this issue with Snap Chat, Tik Tok, Spotify and Roblox all seeming to randomly escape the Screen Time block.

I've been wrestling with this the last few days and have managed to get them all to be blocked when downtime is activated, it might be complete luck or something else at play but this is what I did.

I added each app I wanted to block to "Always Allowed" while downtime was activated and closed screen time and left the phone for 30 mins, I then went back in too screen time and removed the app from Always Allowed then turned downtime off then on again and the app was now blocked.

Trial and Error but I did this for Snap Chat, Spotify and Roblox one by one and they all ended up staying blocked during downtime....as I said might be complete luck and coincidence.
