I am not able to use RCS messaging or schedule a text on my iPhone 14 Pro after iOS 18 update

I downloaded iOS 18 on my AT&T iPhone 14 Pro . I am not able to use RCS messaging or schedule a text.

You can check if your carrier supports RCS by opening Settings, selecting General, and then About. Scroll down to the “eSIM/Network” section. You’ll see a line for “Carrier.” Tap on it to switch that line to “IMS Status.” If your carrier supports RCS, the option will show Voice, SMS & RCS. If not, it will only show Voice & SMS. If RCS isn't showing, contact your carrier.


Scheduling a text only works if the receipient is also on an Apple device. If you're trying to text someone using Android or another platform, scheduling isn't available.
