Why is my AirTag not showing up in Find My Device?

After setting up air tag, then resetting, it still does not appear in Find my...

Well, well...I finally found my air tag listed under "Items" and not "Devices" in Find My. Disregard my question.

Yep. Interestingly Apple deemed the AirTags as "items," thus, as you found out, you would find them on the "Items" tab within the Find My app.
