Slow unresponsive Safari after iOS 18

I have upgraded to iOS 18 and since my iPad and iPhone are having difficult time trying to load pages in Safari. Some apps as well takes sometime to load things as such as video.

the issue is only on wifi. When connecting cellular it works fine.

note that other browsers are functional most of the time even on wifi.

I have deleted browsing history, removed vpn profiles, disabled extensions, private relay.

getting crazy a bit how to fix it and why it work on celluar but not wifi. I don’t want To reset network settings and loose all wifi passwords. I wish I didn’t upgrade

I have the same problem. This helped me, go to settings then safari then advanced, turn OFF advanced tracking and fingerprint protection. let me know if this helped

I’m wondering how much security I lose by turning off these advanced features ? How vulnerable will I be with them off? Would it be better to temporarily use a different operating system until Apple can fix all the bugs in iOS 18 that are screwing up so badly. In my instance, I have both cellular and Wi-Fi and it’s happening almost every time I hit a hyperlink. It says that Safari is unable to find the server.

I do still have the issues sometimes present, and it can be slow sometimes. However, it's much better than before. I had to close even the private relay in addition to the above settings. I wish I didn’t do the upgrade. Apple support and others couldn't help, and thanks to Omar, it was solved. I thought of moving to a different browser; however, my shortcuts and everything will be changed in time. I hope they release a fix soon, but we don’t need to be moved it is not worth it. it does take on a release being sent out and need to have them off.

Seems still it’s not solved when enabling it back on my phone.

Yes! I disabled it and worked. Seems security issues. Some websites such as Reddit is so slow to load. I just moved to another browser!

I am still having that same issue. So frustrating as I tried turning off my advanced tracking and fingerprint protection and a few other suggestions I saw on the internet but no solution has worked for me yet. I am using another browser now until apple can send out a fix that will work for me.

I also have a Safari issue. When loading a page it is shown correct for a second and then it is loading like something from older days. No pictures, no images, no buttons. in Google Crome and Edge the pages are shown correct.

Have turned off and turned on everything mention by Apple and here.
