Blocking SETTINGS on child’s phone

the kid on my account has figured out how that he can use the Settings App to change the date and time on his phone to bypass the screen time limits placed on certain apps. This seems like a significant flaw in the screen time system. Is there any way to prevent access without completely removing his phone?

This has worked for some but others have reported that it doesn't. Worth a try, though:


On your kid's iPhone, go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Location Services > System Services > Setting Time Zone. You will want this feature to be disabled. Then go back to Location Services and set this to "Don't Allow Changes."


Then go to Settings > General > Date & Time and see if that now is locked out.


If not, then it's indeed a hole in the Screen Time security features. You can add your voice on the issue via Apple's feedback pages:
