taking photos with and without icloud photos turned on before and after process

I can understand if icloud photos is turned off and I take a photo, then turn on icloud photos, then the photo gets uploaded to icloud in original full resolution format. But,


I dont understand if I have icloud photos turned on, then I take a photo, where is the photo going to first ? icloud or internal storage ?


whats the process when icloud photos is turned on and then I click to take a picture ...where does that picture go first ?

Since icloud photos is a sync it goes to your device first then sync to the cloud Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support
