Unable to Copy and Paste images and subjects on iPad Notes

After updating to iPadOs 18, the notes app won't let me paste images from safari and photos!!! Unbelievable!!! I bought this device precisely to be able to do that and now it seems like this feature has simply been blocked.

My iPad now is now just a screen to scroll safari, I can't believe it.
