Music pausing when screen locks or unlocks

Any audio coming from my iPhone 15 is having a small pause when the screen locks or unlocks. This started after the ios18 update, I already tried clearing all the apps and restarting my iPhone.

Audio pauses when locking/unlocking screen whilst not connected to charger I have been experiencing this issue ever since upgrading to IOS18 on my iPhone 13. Whenever using any audio streaming application (Spotify, Apple Music etc.), if my iPhone is not being charged, if the screen times-out or I manually lock my iPhone, I notice a slight pause in the audio, then it resumes playing. I have attempted numerous restarts, various setting changes such as background app refresh etc., however to no avail. Anyone else had experienced/ is experiencing a similar issues ? Any possible solutions?

Music stops for a second when iPhone screen turns off or on Since updating to iOS 18 music stops for a second (like a micro freeze) whenever iPhone screen turns off or on (e.g when I lock my phone or when I receive a notification and the screen turns on). Music still plays in the background this only happens when a change happens to the screen. Tested with Spotify, apple music or a voice recording.

My music automatically pause when phone gets locked. My music automatically gets paused when the screen gets lock and as i have added a shortcut of locking the screen it is very annoying.
