Pages Pre-iOS
Pages on macOS before iOS was phenomenal. I wrote a 500 page paper complete with graphics a table of contents, a bibliography, and an index in a week. That was only possible because Pages, back in the day, was created by developers who respected Apple’s long history of good UI design. That all went out the window with iOS. Apple decided to shoehorn Pages into iOS/iPadOS, despite the horrible limitations of the touch interface, rather than creating a completely new app. Instead, and this is unforgivable, they decided to dumb down the macOS version so that it is now just a pale ghost of the powerhouse that it once was. When are they going to understand that touch is not suited to every kind of computing?
