Is it okay to charge my iPhone to 100% on a daily basis?

  1. iOS 18 has new feature as charge limit… should I use that or use Optimised battery charging?
  2. If I choose charge limit as 95, will iPhone not get charged more than 95?
  3. Is it okay to charge my iphone to 100% on daily basis?

  1. It all depends on your preference, if you want to get a full days charge out of your iPhone or if you want to preserve the battery longer.
  2. The iPhone will stop charging at 95% and won't charge past that, and when it hits 90%, it will resume charging. Your iPhone will occasionally charge to 100% to maintain an accurate battery state-of-charge estimate.
  3. Yes, charging your iPhone to 100% is fine. What you should not do is let your iPhone die or get below 20%, that is the worst thing you can do to a rechargeable lithium battery.
