Apple Pencil Gen 2 is not charging

Hello! yesterday I bought the Apple Pencil gen 2 and I connected to my iPad successfully but the battery was 0% so I thought I should wait for it to be 100% but still it doesn’t even move over a bit!! And of course I did multiple things like shut down the iPad, restart the pencil and also update the iPad but still it doesn’t charge and I can’t see any differences!! What should I do? Pls I just got it and it’s new but it won’t charge and I live in Iran and ikr there’s no Apple representative here so just pls at least help me to figure out the issue and fix it!!Pls help me

I've searched the forums on what to do if an Apple Pencil won't charge. Several people have reported that gentle warming of the Pencil (such as placing on a hot water radiator), prior to attempting to charge the Pencil, can sometimes resurrect a dead Pencil battery. One said they wrapped the pencil in a warming pad for 5 minutes. Others placed the pencil on a hot water bottle for 15 minutes. You can try that.
