App Store in iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 doesn't show version history for apps

On iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, the App Store always showed a version history for each app. But now on ver. 18, the version history entries for every app are nowhere to be found.

My devices:

iPhone 15 Pro, with automatic app updates turned OFF
iPad Pro 11" (M2), also with automatic app updates turned OFF
U.S. English profile on all devices

Constant app updates - what info does the app developer get? The constant app updates seem illogical to me. I understand updates for IOS/API changes, bug fixes, and function updates, but i have apps update that are running fine and show no changes but are constantly updated. I’m not a conspiracy person, but I’m wondering if the app developer gets some information about your device each time the app is updated. Maybe what other apps are installed, your phone usage, or other details about you - a covert way to get info about the device. How about Apple itself answer this question- “What kind of information is exchanged between the app developer and my device during an update?”

Automatic App Updates option on my App Store is missing after the iOS 18 update Hello, i recently updated my iPhone 12 to iOS 18, and the option to allow automatic updates for the App Store is nowhere to be found. I don’t know for how long it’s been missing, i turned it off more than a year ago and never checked. It shows up when i search for it (in settings), but then it just jumps to App Store settings and nothing changes. I also encounter issues with available updates not showing up in the App Store itself (which can be solved by refreshing the page). Any help appreciated. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Oops, turns out Apple has moved the Version History into the What's New section. So problem solved!
