I was changing my passcode on my iPhone. After entering the old one and setting a new one, the phone seemed to get stuck, so I pressed the lock button. When I tried to unlock it again, I entered both the new and old passcodes, but neither is working. Can someone please help?

Try a Forced Restart on the phone. Follow the instructions very carefully, as this is a bit tricky. (Hint.....ignore the "slider" when it appears and keep holding the Side button in until the Apple logo appears. This might take another 30 seconds.)

If no luck after a few tries, make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple service shop. You can find a list of authorized shops in your area using this link:
Unfortunately, the shop is probably going to have to reset / erase the phone. Hopefully, you have a current backup.

Unfortunately, not backing up is like not fastening your seat belt. Everything is fine until it is too late.
Hopefully, the Apple techs can save the data.
If your data is valuable to you, you might want to consider a backup routine in the future. iCloud will back up automatically every day, for example.
I've already tried a forced restart. No, I don’t have a recent backup, and there’s nearly 180GB of data on the phone, containing the last 5 years of my data. :(
