How do I remove the home bar without using guided access?

I would like to know how to permanently disable, remove, or toggle off the home bar when in any and all apps or settings. Before I updated to the latest 17.7 it would disappear from view after maybe 10 seconds, however since I updated it constantly stays on screen regardless of what I do and yes I know about the guided access where it makes it disappear from the app while using it, but I want the home bar gone and never to return. Or if anyone know an app that will remove it that would also be useful.
