Qardio has gone bankrupt and app is missing from App Store

I just upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro from the 15 Pro. Everything worked fine except for the Qardio app which is missing from the App Store. Thus it can't be used on the 16.

This is a real bummer as I have all 4 Qardio products. I have been using them for years and keeping historical records for health purposes. I'm seeing rumors that Qardio has gone bankrupt but haven't found any details. I've sent several messages to their support staff in recent days but have not received any replies. I do note that their online store is still selling their products as if nothing has happened. I consider this dishonest, at the very least. For the record, Amazon is also selling Qardio products. Imagine buyers' anger when they find out that the advertised app is unavailable.

This brings me to the big question: Why was the app removed from the App Store? I can't believe that Apple knows about this situation and the problems it will cause for many iPhone users like me. Maybe they would agree to put the app back up.

looks like they changed the app name to “qardio heart health”. I had the same issue due to a phone upgrade and just found the “new” app and downloaded and it worked. Good luck to all!

Great find. It also appears that they have changed the link on their website to point to this app instead of the previous link that said the app was not available. The app has been in the App Store for over a year with the latest update being 6 months ago, so not sure if it is actually new or what changes have been made. Hopefully they are back on track. It is odd that they have not kept their users informed on what is going on and that their Support link is still not functional.

Someone in this discussion group got an email link on forgetting credentials. May be you can try it again. However, you can’t email their support for help anymore.

I’m not sure if you store your previous credentials in the Apple password manager or not. If you did, you should look for the credentials from getqardio.com instead of using the suggested email/password pair as it took it from a more generic domain (page.link).

I’m happy with it so far! I like the fact that it displays the measurement on the unit as well. I’m also very pleased with my scales as well… I was actually a Withings customer pre Qardio - probably should have just stayed with them in hindsight! Frustratingly I seem to now be able to access my Qardio data and devices again although I’m not sure how long that will be the case as the company doesn’t look to be in a great position financially…
