my macbook air screen's broken and I was wondering if there was a way to screenshare to my iphone

my macbook's screen is completely broken but I'm pretty sure it still works and I tried to connect it to a monitor with hdmi but it didn't work so is there a way to screenshare to iphone without being able to see my macbook's screen?

Ok, thanks. I'm just tying to ascertain, whether or not, the issue is not just limited to your Mac's screen, but is due to an issue with its logic board. Typically, if you cannot get a display on an external monitor, it points to a logic board issue. Using a third-party app, like the two I mentioned, will not help you in that case.


At this point, I suggest you contact Apple Support directly for further assistance with this matter. To do so, simply select the "Support" link on the bottom left-hand side of this forum's web page.

What exactly do you mean by "it didn't work?" Do you mean that nothing was displayed on the monitor, or what was displayed was too difficult to use?


As far as using your iPhone as the display, I'm only aware of a few iPhone apps that may work. They are Luna Display or Duet Display. I have not used either so I can't really comment on them. Both are better designed to use with an iPad.
