Issues with CarPlay and abysmal audio quality on iPhone 13 after upgrade to iOS 18.0

Hey,

I have upgraded to iOS 18.0 on my iPhone 13 yesterday. I've been used to early adopter issues with previous iOS upgrades, such as increased battery drainage etc. but this time, oh boy - I wish I did not upgrade.

After the upgrade my CarPlay system (via cord with KIA sportage) became basically unusable, I have issues such as:

• can't change songs via switch on the steering wheel
• the Audio quality is terrible - both on Spotify and YT music, it's like the bitrate dropped 32 kbps
• Google Maps - can't use the voice command for setting the destination

and that's only in last 24h, most likely I will uncover more issues.

Did anyone have similar issues? When 18.1 is scheduled to be released? I didn't backup my phone before the upgrade, ugh.
