grammer check for emails

I have a new MacBook Air with Sonoma 14.6. The grammar does not work with spell check in my emails. I have selected ‘Check Grammar with Spelling” but it doesn’t catch everything. How to fix or is there an add-on I can purchase?

Why does my Mac keep suggesting a correct word is spelled incorrectly and suggesting a wrong spelling? I've had a running issue I can't figure out. It seems to mainly impact the Mail program on my Mac. When I type messages, it will underline words that it says are spelled incorrectly...but they are correct. When I click to look at their suggestions, it will suggest an incorrectly spelled word. For example, I correctly typed the word "simple" in an email, and it was underlined as incorrect this was proposed. These are not words that I mistakenly added to my dictionary at some point. Turn off Autocorrect in Apple Mail Is there a way to turn off Autocorrect specifically in Apple Mail for all future messages? Currently, the the way I found only applies the setting to the active mail message, not all future messages. I have been able to turn off autocorrect in Apple Mail by starting a new message, and then: Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Correct Spelling Automatically (uncheck) This option is grayed out if I do not have a new message open and it only applies the setting to the active message; the setting is reverted if I start another new message. The other option I found was to apply the setting for the entire Mac by going to: System Settings > Keyboard > Text Input > Edit > Correct Spelling Automatically (turn off)

After I installed and de-installed grammerly, my spellcheck stopped working for my emails. Anyone else have this problem? How can I correct it? I am running Brave as well as Safari, depending. Thanks!

I like Grammarly either the app for texting or the online one for stuff like emails or papers. It’s free to use. Both texting and online. You could purchase the premium which gives you everything. $30 for Monthly. Annual is $144 I believe. Hope this will be a possible solution for you!
