Paint scratching

Hi, my iphone 13 has alot of small speckles on the sides going up and down, these are definitely paint chippings and NOT scratches, i was just wondering would apple still accept it for trade in, for the money off of my next phone, everything else is fine, like completely fine, please reply quickly, Thanks!

No one here works for Apple so none of us can say for sure. It depends on exactly how extensive these "speckles" are. Apple's trade-in estimator says that if the iPhone has "major scratches" then they will not give any value for it, but without being able to see it, it's impossible to say what they'll decide. You can get their estimate here:

Then if you want to proceed, you can either get the new iPhone, send in your old one, and see what value they finally decide on. They may well determine that you'll get nothing. You'd just have to wait and see. Or if you have an Apple Store in your area, you can take it to them and have them look at it.
