Stuck on restoring iPhone 16 Pro Max

Kept encountering issues with error code(10).130A.0000 (10).06B4.0000 When restoring with the Apple Devices App, Windows is up to date. Support could only tell me to keep trying

The same thing happened to me, and it took me hours to resolve it after multiple testing. For Windows users, use iTunes instead of Apple Devices app to restore iPhone 16 Pro series. If you have Apple Devices app installed, uninstall the app and restart your computer first before attempting it with iTunes again.

I discovered that using the iTunes version from the official Apple website (https://www.apple.com/itunes/) instead of the Microsoft Store version resolved the issue. My iPhone 16 Pro got stuck during restoration at the same step each time.

While the iTunes and Apple Devices apps from the Microsoft Store were up-to-date, it seems that some components included with the software might be missing or outdated. I tried both apps multiple times (5-6 attempts) on two different Windows machines (one AMD, one Intel), but neither worked.
