airpods pro 2 add voice isolation audio

In the headphone settings in voice & visual there is an option to activate a function called "voice isolation audio" I would like to know what it is and how it helps?

The issue should be easilly testable. Just plug in the apple earpods to your iphone, press and hold the middle button on the headphones, and voice control activates. Please let me know if there is a setting to deactivate this, or confirm that there is no way to deactivate. This is very frustrating as this causes me to randomly call people in my address book.

Microphone mute on airpods pro 2 I've just bought airpods pro 2s but can't seem to find an option to mute the microphone from the buds without using the iPhone. If this isn't an implemented feature, please can it be implemented? Joining conference calls would be much more convenient when access to the iPhone is restricted.
