What should I do if my Calculator won't reset after iOS 18 update?

Tried, uninstalling and reinstalling it work for 2-3 times and again having same problem of not reseting zero.

this time it show a specific number of previous calculations even after doing other calculations after that.

Sorry I updated to iOS 18.0 on iPhone. To name a few issues I have with the update.

I totally dislike the changes in Settings. Difficult and time consuming to find what I am looking for.

Don't understand why Apple change features in Settings?

The calculator now looks like a 2nd grader doing a math problem. EX: 2+10+43+6+11+8+10+14+3+...

Is Apple trying to attract a much younger generation? I just don't get it. :)

In addition to this the calculator does not show the numerical value for >M when doing multiplication or any calculation. Seems like the new math function is pointless when the basic display of numbers are not correct

I’m having the same problem. It was reverting to a previous figure, even after other calculations were completed. Now, it’s abandoned the original recurring figure to one of the more recent ones. Very annoying and it’s not like the calculator is new to iPhones. Apple needs to fix this quickly!

It’s crazy we have to do a workaround just to get the calculator to clear, which has never been a problem before IOS 18.

The calculator should have been left alone!

My calculator will not always clear to zero since iso 18

I have cleared the screen also cleared history. The only thing that worked once was uninstalling and reinstalling app. Still not clearing

Sadly update did not fix it as it is back to not clearing again. Sigh.

Problem continues. Ugh.

I think this may have resolved the issue. Always opens to 0 now, and rather than the ‘X’ showing up, AC is always there. Keeping fingers crossed, but it’s been good for a few days now…..thanks!

I agree didn’t fix it for me either starting too become annoyed make me wish I kept my 13 pro max
