Is there a way to modify iPhone calculator iOS 18.1.1 to clear a long number instead of having to press backspace for every number entered? If I enter a number incorrectly I cannot simply clear it with the press of a button. This sucks!

There is a simple answer to your question. When you enter a number, then the calculator replaces the AC key with the Backspace key. Single touches on the Backspace Key deletes the numbers one by one as you have discovered. What you need to do is to Touch and Hold the Backspace Key for a second and that action clears the entire number entry.

Terrible update for the calculator. Keep it simple people. Add the AC key back to the calculator keypad!
