My computer keeps shutting off and this says "Your Computer was restarted because of a Problem"
Took it to the apple store and they erased it and reloaded the OS and tell me everything is fine, yet it keeps doing the issue... Its like they are hoping the apple care runs out to keep me stuck with this lemon.
Why is this happening?

Someone could try to decode the values of those machine code status registers, using an Intel developer's manual. If you download the manual using the link on this Intel site, Chapters 16 and 17 of Volume 3 ("System Programming Guide") go into all sorts of gory detail about Machine Checks.

One question I would have is whether you have recently installed any RAM in that 27" iMac. Improperly seated RAM can cause system crashes, and I imagine that at least some of those would show up as Machine Checks. Reseating RAM might clear up crashes.
Macs are also known to be very picky about RAM, which is why many long-time Mac users prefer to purchase RAM (for Macs that can be upgraded) only from Crucial or from Other World Computing (MacSales), using tools on those sites to select the RAM that is appropriate for the particular Mac in question.
A Machine Check is almost certain a hardware issue. As SoC indicated, it could be bad or badly seated RAM, or it could be a processor failure. Take a look here:

Yes the board was bad but they don’t go beyond that which actually works for you because they might re-swap it for free. But try the factory reset plain-vanilla operation first. If that doesn’t fix and Apple repair want $700 to re-swap, decline and buy new.
Everything is not fine. It's a hardware problem. Take it back to Apple and ask them to research just what "machine check" means (hint: it's a hardware problem).
Time Machine is the culprit, clearly. But first, have Apple re-swap the logic board free of charge. Once done and before starting it up, take care to not restore from Time Machine - manually copy/paste user files only, and re-install apps manually as well. Good luck!
One more thing: if Apple refuses free repair or before taking it back even, try resetting to factory (not the same as erasing MacOS).
It’s possible but Apple won’t figure it out for you given that you’re most likely running an older OS with “complicated” configuration. Try to recover it plain vanilla factory with nothing connected - that should be your first step.

Sure it can - by overclocking, fiddling with power profiles and high-use gaming which could result in denial of Apple warranty service.
I’m saying warranty service could be denied, don’t take that for a given and don’t fight if it comes to that.
The best solution is to restore it with TLC just like you’re doing now. Option B is to ask Apple Repair for another swap (ask nicely). Option C Fecesbook is also a great idea. The place is literally swimming with dumbos 😁…All the best.
Took it back to the Genius Bar
after $700 new logic board went back to the shop, plugged in the back up hard drive to restore from Time Machine.
8hrd later
SAME, computer 🖥️ shut down in the middle of the work flow, stating Architecture error dump, cpuid unknown.
I ask the repair guys at apple to look at the logs and they tell me they don’t know, some secret squirrel engineer at apple knows what that is and this engineer won’t talk to them 😂🥴👀

I saw a post where someone was having the same issue 3 months into owning a new iMac.
Wonder if there is a batch of bad logic boards or bad CPU’s
They updated the OS to Sequoia
They said the logic board was bad and I agreed to pay them almost $700
Im just amazed, they a changing parts blindly and have no access to the logs where the computer 🖥️ is telling them why it’s faulting out.
Im amazed there isn’t a database on their side to decode with these errors are.
Cars have the OBD2 which spits out a code 🧑💻 and there’s a database that explains why the computer is having issues.
I mean, did they just start building computers 2 days ago 😄
I will try and reload everything from scratch like your saying, but there’s a reason why most people made the switch from PC to apple, because of their blue screens etc

If that’s the case than Apple needs to find which programs are causing their computers to fail.
I have a business to run, my job isn’t to pay apple $700 and sit in front of their computer 🖥️ trying to get it not the shut off on its own 😁
