Apple Music Genres

Where are the real Genres - I do not really care about all the Apple blabla genres. It is really getting a nightmare to retrieve the stuff I would like to find.

How do I find out the Most Played Artists in Apple Music I don't subscribe to Apple Music or use the cloud to keep my music but I would like to find out my most played artists in Apple Music which I use from my own collection. There used to be a script from someone on the internet I used to run but it doesn't work anymore but surely there must be some way of analysing your iTunes / Apple Music to get some data from it, like most played artists which adds all the songs by an artist and then makes a list. I can find out most played song from the app itself and create some playlist for different periods etc but the data side of things is pretty poor. Not sure if there is anything out there?

Searching for individual tracks in Music like in iTunes is impossible There's no way to just do a search for my personal songs i uploaded in Music. It always takes me to iTunes store or Apple Music streaming library (and no, I don't want to subscribe.)

Holger,

There is really no such things as "real" genres. If you are an iartist and looking for guidance about acceptable genres to classify your music, see here: iTunes Package Music Specification Addendum: Music, Music Video, and Ringtone Genre Codes
