I want two gmail addresses to separate important stuff and friends from clutter. I keep signing onto gmail, clicking my picture, clicking add an account. Then it tells me to sign in. Repeats itself. I need to create the second account. How do I do it?

sberman's advice is correct if you already have a second email account with Gmail already and just want to add it to Mail on your iPad. To actually create a second Gmail account, you need to go to Google's web site and first create a new Google account.

Then you can sign into Gmail on the web, and add it to Mail on your iPad if you wish.
If you continue to have problems creating your second Google account, contact Google support.

Your objective is to create a new Gmail address. Why have you constrained the method to achieve this objective to Safari?
