When plugged in after not charging for a while, shows Power source power adapter, after replug shows charging battery

Hi, guys!

I have quite a minor problem, but im scared that it could lead to something serious.

I have a MacBook pro m1 (almost one and a half years old) and the problem is when first plugged in after sometime of not charging, its shows Power source power adapter, battery is not charging, but when replugged it goes back to normal and shows that it is charging.

This has been a problem ever since i can remember, maybe it appeared randomly, maybe it was like this from the start, but cant remember.

I bought it from an official apple reseller, since my country doesnt have apple stores and the guarantee is two years, but i dont want to go to the store with such a minor problem.

Maybe there is a way to fix this at home?

This is a non-issue. Your Mac manages its battery health proactively. If you regularly use plugged in, it pauses charging if the battery is ≥80% full. If you plug in with the battery at ≥95% full, it will also not charge. In both those cases, it will show as Not Charging. The Mac learns from your usage patterns, so if you run on the battery for a couple days and recharge in between, it will charge it to full instead of pausing the charging.

If you are referring to the behavior right when you plug it in, it's normal for the Mac to take a short period of time to start charging (and it also shows Not Charging during the delay).
