sim failure

Overnight after updating to iOS 18 I woke up with my phone in SOS mode. I have done all the typical troubleshooting restarting the network, turning off and on, airplane mode off and on, I contacted Verizon and couldn’t verify account because they want to send a text and I have no cell service. I have an iPhone 13 Pro
