With the older Magsafe 1 & 2 power adapters, I know that the built-in charging cable had issues with breaking unless the user was extremely careful with how they handled & wound the cable around the brick. Even with extreme care, those old molded/built-in charging cables would start to twist which would lead to them fraying.
Apple even had a secret free repair program at one time (now expired) where Apple would replace the power adapter if a user contacted Apple about the issue. However, this is no longer an issue since the USB-C power adapters have detachable cables.
The other weak point is the Duckhead adapter Apple includes with their power adapters. I have seen a lot of failures of the Duckhead adapter because it cannot handle the weight of the brick if used on a horizontal electrical outlet & the moving prongs can be damaged if the power adapter is not carefully plugged & unplugged from the electrical outlet, or if the prongs are left extended during transport.
Otherwise, the Apple power adapters hold up extremely well besides sometimes just needing to be unplugged from the electrical outlet in order to reset the power adapter's internal circuitry when it may get into a weird state usually caused by some sort of power/electrical issue with the building's electrical system or the laptop's charging system when a hardware problem exists with the laptop.
All I know is that even with those issues I would still trust an official Apple power adapter over most third party options any day. In fact I am using several Apple OEM power adapters which people told me did not work & I've been using them for years without any issues. I would be concerned why you have experienced so many bad power adapters since that is extremely unusual.
