Hi Kamonlai,
I’ve run into the same problem - under iOS apps, the “Mail” icon is missing - so I would assume a) Apple is very aware of the problem they’ve created b) they’re sick and tired of dealing with our complaints c) they have childishly removed the ability to use that feedback area to post additional customer complaints.
I would agree with you that we no longer have the ability to post our observations - thereby forcing us to call up Apple Support and see if that too is a worthless option.
As for your suggestion to use the dedicated GMail app, I have it, tried it out, and find it too has the same issue - namely the “move to” folder icon no longer makes suggestions as to the folder to select - so it appears to be an Apple systemwide problem.
To all who may be reading my reply, rest assured that I am totally bummed out by this.
Since iOS 4, I always thought Apple was the best choice - now it’s become more like “the best of the worst”. Considering the sky high prices for their projects, I too am beginning to wonder if competitor products might just be a better alternative. At the end of the day, it’s discouraging as a customer to be treated this way. I too look forward to the day when Apple fixes a problem they never acknowledged ever existed. It’s 2:39 am where I am - good night to all.
