Sorry, you havn't understood the problem? With Mac OS Sequoia the handling with different formatted sticks has changed. To exchange files between macOS and Windows with "MS-DOS (Fat)" formatted sticks was easy. With Sequoia it is blocked. You have to format in "macOS extended" and this stick will not be readable on Windows.

Question: Do you have a solution for MS-DOS formatted sticks to use on MacOS Sequoia?

I had another problem with a MS-DOS (Fat) formatted external memory stick. Copying datas (6 GB) for updating my car's touch-screen from a file. Downloading was ok. The software could not read the storage capacity of the stick. Everything was blocked. Ejecting the stick impossible. I had to force the shut down.

This is new in Sequoia.

The problem has been detected. It was not the formatted Stick in MS-DOS. It was the mp4 file. Opening standard was a software from Nikon, NX Studio, which I never use for video editing, instead of Quick Time Player. NX Studio intercepted the opening process. As a consequence the system could not handle with.

Setting Quick Time Player as the default software for mp4 resolved the problem.
