bluetooth pairing Iphone 12 mini and MacBook air M3

I have tried tom pair my MacBook air M3 with my iPhone 12 mini via blue tooth and cannot get them to pair

Macs and iPhones don't use Bluetooth pairing with each other. If you're trying to get a Mac and iPhone to work with each other, you would normally use some combination of


  • iCloud
  • Connections to the same e-mail accounts
  • Continuity features
  • Connections to other cloud services
  • "Manual" synchronization using iTunes or the Finder
