Cant print or save a document as both these are greyed out on the drop box .

So I opened an old excel document and edited it then and tried to "Save as " but that was greyed out on the drop down menu .Ok I will just print it I though but "print " was also greyed out. So tried to close the document and it asked me if I wanted to save my changes, which I did but I cant .First time its done this .Any ideas on how I could fix it.

What version of Excel are you using? Did you purchase a standalone license? Do you have a Microsoft 365 subscription?

If you downloaded the Excel app from the App Store and don't have a 365 subscription, you can't print or save any changes.

Same goes if you have an unlicensed stand-alone copy installed.
