Forced to subscribe to Dual Messenger?

Since yesterday I am forced to subscribe to Dual Messenger on my Ipad, I can no longer use WhatsApp. Did I miss something?

How can I set WhatsApp as my default messaging app on iPhone SE? I want to change the default messaging app on iphone (SE2, ios 18.2) to Whatsapp. Settings > Apps > Default Apps > both Email and Messaging. There is no drop down list. Can the Default Messaging App on an iPhone be changed to Whatsapp? The most used app here is WhatsApp but I don’t see how to change it on my iPhone 16 pro max…. I don’t even see other messaging apps listed to select from and I have at least 2 more…

Delete both apps and install what you want. Do not subscribe to crap that you don't want
