If you've opened the watch, open Settings, choose General, and then About.
If you haven't opened it, ask the seller, or for units in a retail store, ask how long it's been in storage for.

Thanks again - yes I can access all the info on the watch - I bought it new a few years ago but it’s never been paired with our old iPhone. Buying error on my part! Thanks
