How to disable automatic window snapping / resizing on MacOS 15.0 Sequoia

Since Sequoia, my Mac behaves badly. I move a window around and suddenly it becomes full size. Then I resize it again, move it to the center and the size is changed again. It is EXTREMELY annoying and not predictable. Apparently it's some auto snapping brought in from iPads (where it somehow could make sense) but for a normal mouse/keyboard user it's breaking the Apple Human Interface Guidelines. It's irritating, confusing and not even logical.

Thats not how I want my mac to be. I have searched for a button or option to disable this but I have found nothing. The only option would be to downgrade which is a major task.

Do you happen to have an external Dell monitor? I had the same problem on a MacMini but not on two MBPs. Very strange! But I tried killing the DDPM helper utility for controlling Dell monitors, and then my window snapping issue was solved! There seems to be some clash in technology here. Both systems implement snapping, and disabling it in both places doesn't help. You have to stop the Dell app.

(If you still want to use the DDPM app, for brightness, contrast, etc, then turn on window snapping in that app. Perversely it results in no snapping!)
